Leap and Learn
When school is in session our Leap and Learn program meets every Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:00-1:00 and follows the Oldham County school schedule.
Our Program is specifically designed to enable more educational instruction infused with lots of movement and creativity.
Our curriculum uses physical activities to teach reading, writing, math, science, and Bible. Teachers differentiate instruction by separating students into groups based on their skill level and having them rotate through various learning stations. The kids love the station that involves the 30ft trampoline!
We maintain a low student to teacher ratio and use our time diligently. Your child will LOVE coming to L&L.
Sample Fall Schedule

9:30-10:00: Group game, Prayer, Silly question, Pledge
10:00-11:00: Reading Activities and free play

Meet Our Teachers
My name is Ashley Goff. I began my teaching/coaching experience when I was 17 and before that I was a competitive gymnast at a local gym in Louisville. This is my second year with Leap and Learn. I have grown to love this age group; I love getting them moving and watching them work their minds to learn new and exciting things. My style of teaching is focused, fun, and engaging, while requiring a level of respect from each child.
My name is Mary Hearne and I teach the kindergarteners and first graders at Leap and Learn! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Murray State University. I have taught special education for one year, preschool for one year, and kindergarten for four years. My teaching style is movement based and personalized for each child. I enjoy watching my students master new material and feel proud of themselves!
